Hypnosis is a natural state of mind. In fact, you are in hypnosis more often than you may realize.  Think of it as the place you go in your mind to retreat or escape. Since childhood we have been programming our minds. We have been learning and associating events as positive or negative based on what we've seen felt, heard or were told. We started creating associations to ideas, things, people, etc. These became our knowns. As we go through life,  these "knowns" help to protect us by preventing us from exploring the unknown. This is homeostasis. The brains natural and protective desire to stay the same. As you may imagine, certain events and experiences that contributed to our narrative are not be supportive to our growth, or even accurate, and we can end up in a cycle of familiar circumstances.

With Hypnosis, we can form new neural connections and make positive changes within allowing for more opportunity and growth.  Through a relaxed trance like state, suggestions are made to help to release old patterns and limiting beliefs. Think of Hypnosis as the life coach for the subconscious mind.
